Obama vs. Honduran Democracy

The Obama administration is using its brass knuckles to support Latin American thugs.

Cheney Statement on CIA Documents/Investigation

President Obama’s decision to allow the Justice Department to investigate and possibly prosecute CIA personnel, and his decision to remove authority for interrogation from the CIA to the White House, serves as a reminder, if any were needed, of why so many Americans have doubts about this Administration’s ability to be responsible for our nation’s security.

Obama’s Team Is Lacking Most of Its Top Players

As President Obama tries to turn around a summer of setbacks, he finds himself still without most of his own team. Seven months into his presidency, fewer than half of his top appointees are in place advancing his agenda.

Best transition evah gets notice of Paper of Record

When Barack Obama took the Oath of Office seven months ago, the national media got itself “wee-wee’d up” in describing the sheer awesomeness of the Most Successful Transition Ever.

Republicans Have Obama Playing Defense

Republicans are discovering just how effective an opposition party can be in Washington. Their strategy is simply to aggressively and relentlessly oppose the liberal agenda of the president and the Democratic Congress. As a result, Barack Obama's agenda is in jeopardy, and the president is disconcerted, less popular and on the defensive.

ObamaCare's Contradictions

Over the past week, President Obama has held three town-halls to make the case for his health-care plan. While he didn't say much that he hasn't said a thousand times before, his remarks did offer another explanation for the public's skepticism of ObamaCare. Namely, the President contradicts himself every other breath.

A Deck Stacked with Race Cards

What if America transcended race, and Barack Obama wasn’t invited? The question comes to mind as cries of racism grow ever louder among Obama’s supporters.

Obama Snares Palin, Media in Wide Blame-Game Net

When the political winds shift -- when a party is voted out of power or a policy is panned by the public -- Washington turns to its favorite pastime: the blame game.

Does President Obama have the guts?

Could Hillary Clinton have been right about Barack Obama? Could she have been right when she said that he was the candidate of lofty promises and not the candidate of real leadership?

Why 'Obama-care' is failing

The president and his supporters are blaming the wrong people for his healthcare woes -- they should look in the mirror.

Obama-Soros Inside Trading?

Is it a coincidence that Obama backer George Soros bought 5.8 million of the Petrobras’ U.S.-traded preferred shares just a few days before Obama committed $2 billion in loans and guarantees for Petrobras’ offshore operations?

Before you jump with outrage that I even dare to think that please read those two articles in the order provided:

President Obama Finances Offshore Drilling in Brazil

Billionaire George Soros sold 22 million U.S.-listed common shares of Petrobras, than bought 5.8 million of the company’s U.S.-traded preferred shares.

Obama Underwrites Offshore Drilling

You read that headline correctly. Unfortunately, the Obama Administration is financing oil exploration off Brazil.

Why We Need Health Care Reform

By BARACK OBAMA: OUR nation is now engaged in a great debate about the future of health care in America. And over the past few weeks, much of the media attention has been focused on the loudest voices. What we haven’t heard are the voices of the millions upon millions of Americans who quietly struggle every day with a system that often works better for the health-insurance companies than it does for them.

Obama invokes grandmother's death in health debate

President Barack Obama invoked his own anguish over the death of a loved one as he challenged the debunked notion that Democratic efforts to overhaul the nation's health care would include "death panels."

The Health Care Reform Debacle: Obama's Coming-Out

Let's face the harsh reality -- Obama has blown health care reform, big time. The opportunity of a lifetime has been squandered. The most recent revelations about backroom deals with Pharma and the other vendors of medical services drops the curtain on any hope of serious change in our costly and inefficient non-system.

Facing health-care oblivion, the left finally wonders: “Who really is Barack Obama?”

If you accepted the formulation made by Kathleen Parker, stalwart and standard-bearing conservative, you’d think he was a “pragmatist” in “socialist times” — a smooth operator beholden to none, acting decisively and in accordance with what the “times” demand. Namely, socialism.

Obama Official Linked to Racially Charged Boycott of Glenn Beck

A racially charged activist group called “Color of Change” founded by Van Jones, a special advisor to the Obama Administration, is trying to silence popular radio and Fox News personality Glenn Beck by calling for a boycott of Beck’s TV advertisers.

Obama Blasts the “Hypocrisy” of Critics over the Handling of Honduras Coup

After discussing the coup in Honduras during the trilateral summit with his counterparts of Canada and Mexico, President Obama today took on critics who say that the US has not done enough to restore power in the country after the overthrow of Honduran President Zelaya.

Liberals' birther obsession: It's the left-wing, not the GOP, that's pumping up the story

You could be forgiven for thinking that a serious campaign is afoot - aided and abetted by the national Republican Party - to question Barack Obama's citizenship.

Top White House aides gave Senate Democrats a recess battle plan on Thursday, arming the lawmakers with tips for avoiding disastrous town hall meetings while showing them polling on popular aspects of the reform effort.

Obama ‘Impervious to Empirical Evidence’

Throughout the campaign and continuing into his presidency Obama has decried George W. Bush as an “ideologue,” a man blinded by preexisting conceptions and inured to evidence which contradicted his worldview.

After 6 Months, More View Obama's Presidency as a 'Failure' Than Bush's

Thirty-seven percent (37%) said they believe the Obama administration is a "failure," while 51% consider it a "success" and 11% say it's still "too soon to tell."

It has come to this, they want us to snitch on each other

To: Health Care Czar
Cc: President Obama, Health Care Czar, my friends (just in case), my readers
Subject: Flag of my own "fishy" article per you request

Two more points against Obamacare

Something nobody else have noticed. Something important to me and state I live in.

First, if we ever move to one payer system, as president Obama himself outlined as his goal, there will be plenty more unemployed people in my state. We already have ever growing ranks of unemployed people in our state, but since quite a few insurance companies are located here it is easy to imagine what will happen if we go to one payer system.

Second, the latest news about coverage of abortion by Obamacare and well known support of it by Obama brings even more scary possibility. Let's just assume that some Czar in the administration decides that having babies is very expensive. How difficult would it be to declare that in order to prevent the bankruptcy of Obamacare one couple can have no more than two children? All they will have to do it is to order a forced abortion (universally legal by then) or sterilization, as in China. Let me remind you that president Obama is very impressed with that country, maybe even more than with his own.

Obama administration withholds data on clunkers

The Obama administration is refusing to quickly release government records on its "cash-for-clunkers" rebate program that would substantiate — or undercut — White House claims of the program's success, even as the president presses the Senate for a quick vote for $2 billion to boost car sales.

White House uses Web against Drudge

The White House is turning to the Internet to hit back at a Web posting that claims to show President Barack Obama explaining how his health care reform plans eventually would eliminate private insurance.

The Message Is the Message

Since occupying the White House, Barack Obama has hosted fifteen town-hall meetings; appeared in more than 800 images on the White House Flickr photo-stream; and held four prime-time press conferences, the same number held by George W. Bush in his entire presidency.

The Prez, The Press, The Pressure

In the days before President Obama's last news conference, as the networks weighed whether to give up a chunk of their precious prime time, Rahm Emanuel went straight to the top.

John McCain says Barack Obama flunks bipartisanship

In an interview taped Friday on Capitol Hill, McCain said his general-election opponent is “not changing the climate in Washington” as promised.
